I'm in love with Pinterest. This has become addicting for me. Instead of just pinning things to my boards, though, I have been making things and trying new recipes. Here was my project this evening - a weekly calendar for the kitchen. Thanks to Kristy @ Next To Heaven for the idea!

I used this frame from Wal-Mart and some scrapbook paper.

I cut the paper into 4x6 pieces and decided which piece would go where. Then I opened up photoshop and used 4x6 landscape & portrait backgrounds. I chose a font I liked (Miss Tiina's font Whimsy) and typed up the days of the week. I labeled my 8th paper "coming up". Then I printed each one on the scrapbook paper and put them in the frame. Very easy to do!!!

I forgot to take a photo before I filled it out for the week, but here it is for $10 and a little bit of my time. We just have to fill it out each week using a dry erase marker.

I don't have little ones and napping pics but this would be perfect for those photos if you do. Instead I have this beautiful photo of God's beauty. Hi, my name is Amy Fullmer. I have been married for 6 years and have a 20 month old son that I just adore. When I was on maternity leave with my son I started digital scrapbooking and have been addicted ever since! I just can't get enough! When I am not spending time with my family or scrapbooking, I am a full time Medical Coder for the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah. I am so excited to be a part of the Designs By Snowlady team and can't wait to work with everyone and Misty's amazing kits.

My name is Dannethia. I am a SAHM to my 11 yr old daughter. I started paper scrapbooking when she was borna nd fell in love with it. About 5 yrs ago I discovered digital scrapbooking and fell in love all over again. I still paper scrap some but mostly digital scrap. My daughter is my inspiration and the whole reason I scrap.

My name is Katherine. I have been married for 41 years to my wonderful husband. We have seven wonderful children and 27 soon to be 28 grand children and one great grandchild. I never did traditional scrapbooking because of the expense and mess. I started digital scrapbooking about 2 1/2 years ago. I started making pages for my grandkids for their birthdays and Christmas presents. I love to go out with my husband on photo shots of the outdoors. I also love spending time with my family.

My name is Kimberly. I am married to my high school sweetheart and a stay home mom mother to two adorable little boys (6.5 and 1years old). I homeschool, take care of my amazing family as well as finding time to digi scrap and make other fun crafts.

New CT Members and Sneak Preview

I would like to introduce 2 new creative team members - Tracy and Henriett. I just love their work and look forward to having them on my team. Here's a little information about each of them and links to their blog.

I’m Henriett, I live in Hungary with my family. I have a 3 years old son; he is the reason I started scrapping in 2010. I’m a full-time worker for an NGO, which organises children and youth meetings. In my spare time I love to travel, play outside and make thousands of photos. Blog link: Henriett

I'm Tracy. I am 41 years old and have been married to my husband for 12 years. I am a stay-at-home mom to our 2 boys, ages 11 and 5 and our ancient Basset Hound. I also have 3 bonus kids and 6 bonus grandbabies! I live in the DFW area of Texas, but have lived in numerous states over the years. Progressive Scrap Step 6

I hope that you've been following along with the Progressive Scrap. Today is Step 6. If you have missed any steps, you can go back to the beginning and check them out. Just click here.

Now for Step 6:

Using some journal strips (or a paper made into journal strips), add a list of individual words (3 or more) for your journaling. These can be placed anywhere on your layout. If your kit already has individual words on a background, those can be used as well.

Tomorrow you will head to Digital Harmony Design Studio to receive step 7. Can't wait to see your layouts!!

Here are the instructions:
~ Each day, for 7 days, visit the designer's blog and follow the step that they give you.
~ If you don't get started on day 1, don't worry, you can go back and follow the steps to get caught up.
~ After you have completed your layout, upload it to the gallery and then post it here in this thread in the forum, remember to link it back to the gallery too please.
~ Progressive scrap layouts need to be posted here in the forum by midnight May 15th to be included in the prize drawings.
~ Watch your inbox for a PM saying that you won a prize from one of the random drawings. Drawing for progressive scrap prizes will be drawn on May 16th, excluding the grand prize $50 gift certificate for Persnickety Prints which will be drawn on June 1st after all the birthday challenges are complete.
