Challenge Layouts

I made two layouts this weekend for challenges at AMR and Scrapadilly.

The one at AMR was a progressive challenge. Here's my take:


The one at Scrapadilly required at least 4 photos, 5 embellishments, and journaling strips.

New Layouts

I did a couple of layouts yesterday.

The first one was for sketch 21 at 52 Sketches 52 Weeks. The photos are the family playing on the playground at Brown County State Park last August. We had a great time! I used BoBunny papers on this one.



This next one is a digi layout from last night's speed scrap at One Single Seed. The photos are also from our trip to Brown County. I used the Get Dirty kit from Mad Scrapper Designs found here. The sun was a freebie from Digi Overdose.

Woohoo!

I have been asked to be a part of the Creatively Yours design team for the June to October term. I am looking forward to creating with the great sketches that Noella and Ali have to share. There is a Monthly May Challenge going on, so stop by and check it out!

Sketch Layout

Sketch 20 is up at 52 Sketches 52 Weeks. I just finished my layout using that sketch. The photos are from May 06 during our trip to the Smoky Mountains & Spruce Flat Falls.

Some More Layouts

I finished 2 more layouts today - that is 4 total!! The first one is for my faith album. It's a scraplift for the Scrapadilly crop. The second one is some photos from Mother's Day this year. I used sketch 19 from 52 Sketches 52 Weeks. It's also for the Scrapadilly crop.

My Mom

I did a layout of my mom. I used a sketch from Creatively Yours for this layout. It also fits the title challenge at AMR and the Mom challenge at Scrapadilly.

Sketch Layout

I did a layout of our kitty, Callie. We had her from February 1995 to May 2009. I used a sketch from Creatively Yours. This also fit a challenge at Scrapadilly.

Scraplift Challenge

There are several challenges going on at AMR right now. I did this layout for the scraplift challenge. I went digital since I was on the computer & talking on the phone. Yes, I can multi-task. Go check out AMR & the challenges.

On-line Crop

Scapadilly is having an on-line crop. It starts today and goes through May 23rd. Hop on over there & check out the challenges (they look great).

Layouts from my crop

I went to my monthly crop last night at church. It's always a lot of fun scrapping with the ladies. We call it cheap therapy. I usually don't get a lot accomplished at these monthly sessions, but I finished 2 layouts for my faith album (7 x 7) and did most of a 12 x 12 layout. So here they are.

This one I used for the cardstock challenge at AMR.


This one I used for the color challenge at AMR.


I used sketch 18 from 52 Sketches on this layout.

I've been dabbling

I've been trying my hand at digital layouts. It's not something I want to do all the time as I still like my papers. But once in a while isn't too bad.

The first one is of my grandparents & mom.



The next one is a picture I think Dan took while hiking in the Smoky Mountains.



This one is from Easter. The boys didn't want baskets this year just money & a little candy. So I made everyone go outside after church for a family picture. Dan brought the cat with him.



This last one is from last summer at the Outer Banks. We went kayaking for the first time. What fun!

Today's Layouts

I've managed to do a couple of layouts today.

This one is for my faith album. I made it for a challenge at AMR to use 3 clear items on your layout.



The next one was for a sketch challenge at AMR.



Hopefully I'll finish some more before the weekend is over.

Queen of Scraplift

That's what I've been named at AMR! I won the overall Thursday Scraplift Challenge at AMR. I am receiving some goodies in the mail for this honor & a cool blinkie to use. Congrats to all the Challenge winners!

Sketch 17 - 52 Sketches

I finally got around to doing sketch 17 this week. I used photos of the boys and me in Nana's pool. This was from July 06. The boys wanted to pull us around the pool like a taxi service. What fun!
